Aluminium Enclosure for Measurement Instruments
Product: A5052 aluminium enclosure (Ø50×30L to Ø150×100L) for measurement instrument cases
Machine: 5-axis machining center + hairline finishing machine
Lot size: 200–500 pcs
Challenge: Complex geometry with hairline surface finish required four separate machining operations in Japan, with high labor cost for the finishing step. Manufacturing cost was excessive.
Result: Aizaki Vietnam’s 5-axis machining center consolidated four operations into two. Hairline finishing was performed in Vietnam at lower labor cost. The client, initially concerned about cosmetic quality on exported parts, was reassured by the Japanese-standard quality management system in place.
